The Detroit Free Press has an article today about the new model range within Saab and it even has an appearance by the Saab Performance Team, who I’m sure most of you have seen by now.

Swedish rally driver Ken is grinning wildly as he accelerates our Saab 9-3 sedan to 70mph in a parking area by the Road Atlanta racetrack. A sudden swerve to the right, then sharp left and the car reverses direction amidst howls of protest from the smoking tires. Heading backwards almost as fast as we were going forwards, Ken suddenly reverses direction again and we slide to a halt.
It’s the sort of trick driving you see in action movies, but to Ken and his three fellow Swedish engineers in the Saab performance team, it’s nothing out of the ordinary. Precise handling is what this exercise is all about and it is one of the attributes of Saab’s latest model line-up that the General Motors Corp.-owned Swedish automaker wants to highlight.
I’d be grinning wildly too. It’s a great article. Check it out.
