There will be a press conference tomorrow (Friday) in Trollhattan, where GM will announce it’s decision as to the future plans for mid-size car production.  Execs are making a choice between Trollhattan and Ruesselsheim in Germany.  Concurrent news conferences are planned for both venues tomorrow.

AP newswires seem to indicate that the German plant will come out better off for this announcement, however a decision was announced earlier in the week with regard to producing the mid-size Cadillac BLS at Trollhattan, giving workers there some sense of security.  In addition, the Swedish Government has offered to pour a big wad of cash into infrastructure, research and development.

Wait and see.
